Hangout with fellow Cornellians online from the comfort of your own home! We plan to watch The Little Prince, a Netflix film starring Jeff Bridges, Mackenzie Foy, and Rachel McAdams. Rated PG, Run time 1 h 46 min. Synopsis: When an over-scheduled girl befriends an eccentric aviator, he regales her with tales about the adventures of an unusual boy who lives on an asteroid.
Netflix Party is a new way to watch Netflix with up to 50 of your friends online. Netflix Party synchronizes video playback and adds group chat to your favorite Netflix shows.
Cost: This event is free. Netflix subscription is not included. You must have your own active Netflix account to join the party. Registration is required to receive the group link to sync playback and chat with the group.
How to join:
1.) Register for the event
2.) Install the Netflix Party Extension (currently only available on Google Chrome) here: https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/netflix-party/oocalimimngaihdkbihfgmpkcpnmlaoa?hl=en
3.) The group Netflix Party URL will be emailed to you about 10 minutes before the event begins. Click on the URL in the email and then click on the NP extension next to the address bar to join the fun!
4.) The optional group Zoom URL will also be emailed to you about 10 minutes before the event begins. Zoom will be muted and on camera only for participants that want face time. No screen share will be permitted.
