Matt Carcella: In July, LGBT community at Cornell welcomed a new director of the LGBT Resource Center, Matt Carcella, into the Cornell family. He was previously the program coordinator at Princeton University’s LGBT Center. Matt brings with him the experience and leadership to create a world-class program for LGBT students (undergraduate, graduate, and professional), faculty, staff, and alumni. He is currently in the process of reinvigorating the LGBT Resource Center to serve as a community space, advocacy office, and the home of the more than 20 student organizations dedicated to LGBT equality and social programming.
