In its Fall 2009 issue, Beauty Revolution Magazine featured CAANC' s first ever fashion show, "Work Play and Beyond."  Writer Yanid Burrell, covered the event, writing, "On June 12th...some of the hottest designers from Cornell and Yale Universities showcased their designs on the runway."

The two page spread featured a number of photos from the event, and highlighted Cornell designers who presented, such as Alan Chan, Manog Dadlani, and Kristen Ming of Arbitrae. The article also showcased the talents of Mayra Alatorre, who presented women's pieces at the event, as well as Stephanie Schoen and her sustainable clothing designs.
